Welcome to our latest newsletter

Just bringing you up to date on some events here at Cheam Library.  There is still time to book some FREE tickets for The Big Reveal on Wednesday 28th October at 2pm - Tudor banners, singing from "In the Mix", refreshments AND a painting workshop!  We've also added the date for the next New Books Coffee Morning in December and an advisory notice about service disruption at the Library whilst work is completed on IT services.  Oh, and please keep the Lego coming in - more news on that project very soon!  You can read more about Cheam Library and the work of the Friends group by visiting our website.

Last Call - The Big Reveal in Cheam Library

A last call for tickets for The Big Reveal at Cheam Library this coming Wednesday, 28th October from 2pm. With the help of local artist Adrienne Roberts from ARt workshops, the community of Cheam have been painting six Tudor banners over the summer. Diary date - New Books Coffee Morning 16th December

An early alert for the next New Books Coffee Morning at Cheam Library on  Wednesday 16th December, from 10.00am to 11.30am.  Refreshments 50p. Our last meeting was very well-attended - let us see if we can do even better this time! Come and discuss the latest fiction and non-fiction releases over coffee and a biscuit or two!

Disruption to IT Services

There will be some interruption to IT services at Cheam Library as essential maintenance work is being carried out from 1pm on Friday 23rd October and is due to be completed by 12 noon on Tuesday 27th October. During this time, computer access and printing services will be unavailable. Apologies for any inconvenience.

The Friends of Cheam Library are collecting LEGO® pieces for a special project in the Library. If you have some old pieces or an unused set of LEGO® bricks, would you be kind enough to donate them to our project? Please place any LEGO® pieces in the red LEGO® box on the Library counter.
